Senior Systems Engineer

About OmniTech

OmniTech is a Managed IT Security Services Provider (MSSP) and Virtual CIO/CTO partner helping small and mid-sized organizations build secure, scalable, and compliant technology environments. We deliver fully managed IT support, cybersecurity, and compliance (HIPAA, NIST, SOC 2), cloud infrastructure design and migrations, and strategic IT leadership for businesses that want enterprise-level capability without the cost or complexity of an in-house IT department.

Our team combines deep technical expertise with a business-first mindset—helping clients achieve growth, compliance, and peace of mind through dependable technology and defense-in-depth security practices.

  • Ensure systems adhere to OmniTech’s security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST, SOC 2)
  • Collaborate with vCIO and leadership to plan and scope future technology improvements
  • Provide occasional after-hours support or maintenance windows as required

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to design, document, and deliver technical projects
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across system, network, and security layers
  • Strong communication and documentation habits
  • Ability to manage time independently in a hybrid environment
  • Relevant certifications preferred (CompTIA Security+, Microsoft AZ-104, CISSP, CCNP, etc.)
  • Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP/MSSP) environment is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, NIST 800-171, SOC 2) a plus

What You’ll Gain

  • Real project ownership and direct impact on client success
